The take 5 challenge for April...
Sue and Mark from the Post Office Stores wrote an article in the April Edition of the Dabchick asking for people to consider buying 5 items locally to support local business. You don't have to look far to see what happens to villages when local businesses shut down.
So here is the challenge....how affordable is it to 'keep it local' compared with shopping outside the village? Can you feed a family of four for a Fiver by shopping locally...?
(Or £6 to take into account that if you didn't buy local you would have to travel or pay for delivery!)
